Step 1

Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 600×500 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with white color. Then make a new layer set and call it 'Plasma TV'. Now create a new layer then draw a large dark rectangle with #080808 color shade and 442×260 px dimensions.

Step 2

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow and Gradient Overlay blending options to your dark rectangle layer.

Step 3

In a new layer draw another large dark rectangle with #16171B color shade and 400×226 px dimensions.

Step 4

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow, Gradient Overlay and Stroke blending options to your second dark rectangle layer.

Step 5

Create a new layer, below your large rectangle designs draw a smaller rectangle with #1F1F1F color shade and 442×25 px dimensions.

Step 6

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Glow and Gradient Overlay blending options to the smaller dark rectangle layer.

Step 7

Create a new layer then use the Polygonal Lasso Tool to make a slanted dark rectangle with #151515 color shade right below your plasma screen.

Step 8

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Gradient Overlay blending option to your dark slanted rectangle layer.

Result

Step 9

Create a new layer then draw a small black rectangle with 202x12 px dimensions below the slanted shape rectangle.

Step 10

In a new layer draw a thin black rectangle with 214x66 px dimensions right below the other small black rectangle.

Step 11

Select the Horizontal Type Tool then set the font family to Arial, bold italic, 8 pt, smooth and white color shade. In a new text layer type the name of your plasma tv just below the screen.

Step 12

Create a new layer then use the Polygonal Lasso Tool to make the gray shape with #B0B0B0 color shade by the left stand of the plasma screen, see the picture below. Then make the same shape for the right stand.

Wow! This was exactly what I needed! I'm not artistic at all and I'm terrible with photoshop and I was able to follow this perfectly. Thank you so much!
